About · Our commitments
Trust, built in the open.
How PACT works responsibly: what we do and don't do, how we're governed, how we choose partners, and how we'll know whether the community is helping.

Safety and scope
What we do, and what we don't.
What PACT provides
Education, peer connection and nonclinical support: coaching, community, preparation and integration. What PACT doesn't provide
Medical treatment, psychotherapy, detoxification or emergency services. Taking part in PACT doesn't replace care from qualified professionals. No promises
We present emerging therapies with care, say where the evidence is uncertain, and never promise safety, a cure or a particular outcome.Clinical decisions stay clinical
Treatment decisions, screening and clinical suitability belong with qualified providers. PACT never gives dosing advice or encourages unsupervised use.Privacy and consent
We'll explain what we collect, who can see it, and the limits of confidentiality in an online group. Personal stories are shared publicly only with explicit consent. Before the community opens
Facilitator boundaries, moderation procedures, a clear way to report concerns, and guidance for directing urgent needs to the right services.
Governance
Governance that protects the mission.
Founder-led, to begin
PACT starts as a founder-led initiative, with founding collaborators supporting program development and community relationships. An independent board
Forming the organization and an independent governing board are part of the plan. The board's role will include mission stewardship, leadership accountability, program oversight and review of conflicts of interest. Many perspectives
We're seeking board and advisory members with lived experience, and backgrounds in psychedelic research and care, recovery support, nonprofit leadership, ethics and evaluation.Members have a say
Member feedback informs decisions, without anyone having to share sensitive personal information.
PACT is not yet a registered charity or a tax-exempt organization, and nothing on this site confirms charitable or tax-exempt status. Interested in the board or an advisory role?
Partnerships
Clear responsibilities, disclosed relationships.
Who we work with
Psychedelic researchers, qualified treatment and integration professionals, and recovery organizations, contributing educational sessions, reviewing resources, or connecting members with appropriate support. How partners are chosen
Proposed partners are reviewed for relevant qualifications, ethical practices and fit with PACT's scope.Written agreements
Every partnership has a written agreement covering responsibilities, privacy expectations and referral boundaries.Disclosure
Relationships and potential conflicts are disclosed. Membership never requires using a partner's services, and a listing or guest appearance isn't an endorsement of a treatment or provider.
PACT keeps its own identity and independent judgment. We don't take referral fees or commissions from any program. Partner with PACT
Building and learning
Our first six months.
The first six months focus on building trust, running consistent programming and learning from members. Timing is provisional, and depends on being ready to support people responsibly.
Foundation
Month 1
Clarify roles and governance, select the platform, and set community guidelines, privacy practices and facilitator boundaries.
Community launch
Month 2
Welcome founding members, publish the first resources and introduce the live session calendar.
Build consistency
Months 3 and 4
Keep weekly education and integration sessions running, expand the library and develop qualified partnerships.
Evaluate and refine
Months 5 and 6
Review participation, member feedback, safety concerns and how useful the resources are, then set priorities for the next phase.
Expand when ready
Beyond launch
Deepen support for individuals and families, strengthen partnerships, and assess readiness to design the Access Fund.
Measuring progress
How we'll know it's working.
Connection
Changes in members' reported sense of belonging and access to support.Engagement
Participation in weekly sessions, repeat attendance and continued involvement over time.Education
How useful resources are, and members' confidence asking informed questions about treatment, preparation and integration.Quality and accountability
Programming delivered, resources reviewed, partner contributions, and how concerns are handled.
Short check-ins when members join, and again later, will guide improvements. We collect as little sensitive information as we can and share only aggregate learning. These measures can't show whether a treatment works, and we won't claim clinical outcomes for PACT.
Looking ahead
The PACT Access Fund.
On the roadmap
A longer-term idea: a fund for responsible access to psychedelic-assisted treatment, and the preparation, integration and continuing support around it. Any future program would consider services only where they are legal and clinically appropriate.
It comes after a stable community program and established governance. Before any launch we would define transparent eligibility criteria, independent review, qualified clinical input and provider standards. The Access Fund is not an active service, and not a promise of access to treatment.
