What we believe

Connection first.

We honor what the 12-step community has taught us about connection, honesty, service and helping one another. We build on those lessons through intimate groups, mentorship, daily practice and multiple paths of self-understanding.

Our meetings focus on the present and the future: how we are living, what we are learning and what we are creating together.

We describe what's possible. We don't promise transformation. What happens is up to the people in the room, and we try to make the room a good one.

Where the idea comes from

Inspired by Bill W.'s openness to inquiry.

In the 1950s, A.A. co-founder Bill W. took part in supervised LSD experiments and wrote about them with real curiosity, at a time when few people in recovery circles would. We take inspiration from that willingness to ask questions. Read the history

This is our interpretation and our inspiration. Bill W. did not endorse PACT, and PACT is not affiliated with Alcoholics Anonymous.

Who we are

Presented by Nekawa. Based in Colorado.

PACT is presented by Nekawa Ibogaine Treatment Centers, an ibogaine program on the coast of Brazil. We tell you that up front because it matters: when Nekawa is the right fit for someone, we'll say so, and when it isn't, we'll help them find a program that is. We don't take referral fees or commissions from any program.

PACT is a community initiative, and we're in the process of registering it as a nonprofit. Founder and team profiles will appear here once they're approved.
